Oman Customs Seizes 450 Hidden Electronic Shishas at Border

Oman Customs has confiscated a large quantity of tobacco derivatives along with 450 electronic shishas and their accessories after customs officers discovered them concealed inside a vehicle at the Al-Wajajah border crossing.

According to a statement issued by Oman Customs, the items were carefully hidden inside the cavities of the vehicle in an apparent attempt to bypass the restrictions and limitations in place.

450 Electronic Shishas Found Concealed Inside Vehicle

Customs officers carried out the seizure during an inspection at the Al-Wajajah border crossing. Officials said the hidden compartments inside the vehicle contained a large quantity of tobacco derivatives as well as 450 electronic shishas and related accessories.

The discovery prevented the concealed goods from crossing the border, and the shipment was confiscated by the authorities.

Oman Customs Confirms Legal Action

In its official statement, Oman Customs said: "Customs officers at the Al-Wajajah border crossing were able to seize large quantities of tobacco derivatives, and 450 electronic shishas and their accessories, which were tightly hidden inside the cavities of a vehicle, in an attempt to evade the restrictions and limitations. The necessary legal measures were taken."

The authority confirmed that all required legal procedures have been completed following the seizure.
